Loudtalks Lite – Push-to-talk Application for Windows
Loudtalks Lite is a Metalink-developed piece of software that works on the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system, be it the Windows OS you use to power your desktop computer, or the Windows Mobile OS you use to power your mobile smartphone. Weighing in at less than 1.5MB this application will download in a blink; and it will install on your system just as fast.
Once you have installed Loudtalks Lite on your system, you can use it to stay in touch with your friends. In today’s internet centric world, everyone wants to stay in touch with everyone – and we use the internet for it. Proof is the fact that there are a few hundred million registered users on social networking site Facebook alone. Getting back to Loudtalks Lite, you can use it to stay in touch with your friends.
And by that I mean you can talk with your friends via the internet. Forget about typing, and just speak your mind. To convey your message by typing, you need to be able to, well, type fast – and not al people can type as fast as they talk. Not to mention that it is quite hard to express the intricacies of the spoken language in writing (for example, how can you convey the fact that you were ironic in the last sentence?). Loudtalks Lite does away with all that by turning your computer into something similar to a phone.
All you have to do is press a key and talk – the person on the other line will hear you and can reply. Loudtalks Lite allows you to do this easily, swiftly, and most importantly, freely. Loudtalks Lite is freeware, meaning that you do not have to pay a thing to use it. To my mind, applications that provide great functionality at no charge whatsoever are simply the best. And Loudtalks Lite provides great functionality without charging you a dime for it. Wouldn’t you agree that’s simply the best?
Loudtalks Lite also works on Windows Mobile-powered smartphones. It turns them into push-to-talk handheld devices – Loudtalks Lite uses WiFi, 3G, EDGE, or your data connection so you can use your device as a two-way radio.
